Basic / Breeders Info
Mataro Blue is a mostly indica variety from Kannabia and can be cultivated indoors (where the plants will need a flowering time of ±53 days) and outdoors. Kannabias Mataro Blue is a THC dominant variety and is/was also available as feminized seeds.
Kannabias Mataro Blue Description
This variety is dedicated to the Kannabia's original birthplace.
You can collect at the beginning of October and it occupies an area of few squared metres. Indoors it needs from 8 to 10 weeks.
This plant comes from a genetic selection that we mixed with our male K so we suggest to practice the 'Sea of green' to take under control its development and optimize the production.
The colour of this plant changes from a green-purple into green-blue at the end of the flowering. This change is more evident with a cold climate, when the plant becomes electric blue.
The production is very generous: indoors you will collect more than 600gr/m2 and outdoors a minimum of 700gr per plant.
We suggest to use some support to hold the buds because they will grow very big and the heavy bunches of flowers will surprise you.

Under a 400w in veg and a 600 in flower, I grew this strain in a three gallon dwc bucket. It is nothing to write home to mom about strength wise, but this plant is a beast of a plant. I will definitely be running it again just because the is so strong structurally and isn't a horrible yielder. The smell is also pretty good, but it's no Chem or Sour.

Of the dozen or so strains I»ve grown so far, the Mataro Blue has impressed me the most. It«s a relative fast grower with huge main colas （I topped it once） and you should expect to get around an ounce per cola..BIG colas!
The branches are very thick and sturdy, the buds are dense and compact. I»ve got two of these in 12/12 at the moment, one is about 38' tall and the other is 51' tall with the same veg and flower time.
I suspect I«ll get three ounces from each..not record-breaking, but a nice yield just the same.
EDIT: I just harvested my second Mataro Blue and it yielded 7.75 ounces. I'll be adding harvest pictures if I can figure out how to do that.
